Wishful thinking

Or a lemon turned into lemonade

Dreams are often good

But they always contain a little puff

I mean that goofy stuff

It’s really quite a bluff

You’re feeling down and tired

But you paint on a smile

Then you run a mile

Then you hit reality

And you start to feel groggy again

Nothing is black and white

Every rule has its exceptions

That is everything  - besides this

Take a hit - even if you miss
